ATLAS Star Medical Centre (ASMC) under the patronage of their chairman, Mr. M.M. Ramachandran and a part of the internationally acclaimed ATLAS Jewellery Group has become one of the best providers of medical services in the private sector in the Sultanate of Oman. Their super specialty departments include Plastic & Hand Surgery, Urology & Male Infertility, Brain & Neurosurgery and a fully functional Cardiology Super Specialty Unit.

Services Offered
Since the inauguration of the Labor room and OT in 2005, they have conducted over 1500 deliveries. Their well equipped labor room conducts painless deliveries with a team of 5 doctors, which include 3 well experienced senior gynecologists and 2 in-house anesthetists. Their team has successfully completed a lot of complicated deliveries, hysterectomies and fibroids and ovarian cyst removal surgeries. The centre also has had a high success rate in infertility treatment, a dream come true for a lot of satisfied couples. Your children can be safely entrusted to their well experienced and caring pediatrician who manages all pediatric cases and offers vaccination facilities. The SCBU and phototherapy unit increases the strength of their pediatric department.
Their well qualified orthopedic surgeons conduct C-arm guided surgeries including total hip and total knee replacement surgeries, a large number of implantation procedures and surgical correction of complicated multiple fractures. The healing hands of their general surgeons routinely conduct appendectomies, thyroidectomies, piles surgery and hernias. The surgical team is completed with ophthalmology and ENT surgeons, who conduct tonsillectomy, polypectomy, tympanoplasty, septoplasty, pterygium excision, cataract surgeries, etc.
The department of dermatology offers various therapies such as electro-cautery, chemical-cautery, cryotherapy, chemical peeling, mole excision, removal of warts & corns dermabarasion, etc. The dental department attends to various procedures like full mouth oral prophylax-is, prosthodontic works, cosmetic dentistry, RCT, etc.
All of their doctors are available daily during regular working hours and 24 hours and on-call for emergencies along with the services of a 24 hour pharmacy and laboratory. Thomas MS, MRCS, FACS who deals with all types of cosmetic surgeries: rhinoplasty, face-lift, blepharoplasty, brow-lift, mammoplasty, (augmentation & reduction), abdomioplasty, liposuction & body contouring, botox and others for wrinkles: Reconstructive surgeries include repair of cleft palate, hypospadias, EAR and other deformities of the body and skin tumors, hand surgeries due to hand injuries & hand deformities. Senior consultant in Urology (male fertility and sexual disorders) Dr. Sadiq Lala, FRCS(Ed) D. Urol (London) - Treatment for prostate stone, kidney stone, infertility and sexual disorders and senior consultant in Neurosurgery, Dr. R.R.
