Vanakkam, I'm Dr. Subha!

As a dentist, I believe that a smile is a person's greatest asset and my biggest accomplishments are the ones that happen every day, when with god's grace, we alleviate the pain of our patients and they thank us with broad smiling faces for their cure - those are the accomplishments I live for and enjoy the most.

And I enjoy my profession. Ever since I was a child I've wanted to be a medical professional. My mother played a major role in my academic life and taught me the value of a good schooling. But the desire to become a doctor was instilled in me by my father. He would narrate countless stories of well-known physicians who served mankind and inspired me to do what I could to help people. It was from him that I learned compassion, service and the importance of equality, to treat all patients fairly and respectfully - irrespective of their backgrounds and social or economic status.

I have had the privilege of practicing dentistry at ATLAS since 2008, but my association with ATLAS began long before that as my husband worked as a pediatrician at the hospital well before I joined. He painted a vivid picture of this steadily progressing organization and I am glad to say his painting was right on the mark. We have a great staff and the values of camaraderie and cooperation that are cultivated at ATLAS are truly encouraging. It is immensely satisfying to be a part of this cohesive unit and I hope you get the chance to personally experience the genuinely friendly atmosphere during your dental checkup! Education
