Kem cho! I am Dr. Rajeev and I've been working as an Internal Medicine Specialist at ATLAS for about four years. Internal Medicine has always fascinated me as this deals with almost all the diseases and syndromes associated with human beings. In a world superspecialization I feel that our speciality, though an essential branch in medicine, seems like a dying breed.

Following my post graduation from the prestigious Smt.NHL Medical College in Gujarat, I have been fortunate enough to work in some of the premier hospitals in India and this tenure has further honed my skills.

Outside the hospital, I enthusiastically participate in medical research as well as am actively involved in professional medical associations. I am a lifetime member of the Indian Medical Association and was the honorary secretary of the Thalapally branch. Currently in Oman, I am an investigator in two ongoing clinical trials EDGE Study and STAR Study in Type2 Diabetes Mellitus.

It has been a delight to see the rapid strides made by ATLAS in the time that I have been here. The medical department here has grown from strength to strength and presently now there are two Internal Medicine doctors, a full time cardiologist and a fully functional I.C.U. I am happy to have played my part as an internal medicine specialist in this progress and I hope to play a vital role in the hospital's future.
