Hello! I am Dr.Pallavi Chalivendra and I am working as a General Practitioner in ATLAS Hospital, Ruwi since about one month. A casualty doctor is the first point of contact for many patients reporting with either common flu or in any emergency situation. It is quite challenging to work in this department where the doctor has to be alert all the time, be compassionate, amicable to convince patients and their relatives, and instill confidence that they are receiving the right treatment at the right time.

Following my MBBS in SV Medical College, Tirupathi, I gained expertise in advising about woman's health and handling various medical emergencies and accident cases. I have done my post-graduation (MD) in Pharmacology at PSIMS college, AP. During my PG I learnt the skills to practice Evidence Based Medicine and Problem based approach to the patient.

Outside the hospital, I enthusiastically participate in medical research particularly in Geriatric Pharmacology. I was a sub-investigator in Parkinson disease trial during my post graduation days.
