Greetings! I am Dr. Kripa Jacob working as E.N.T – Specialist at the ATLAS Hospital, Ruwi. ATLAS Hospital wishes to provide all its patients comprehensive healthcare and my motto in alignment with this is to provide the best possible care with empathy.

I completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Oto-Rhino-Laryngology from Kasturba Medical, College, Mangalore in 1994. Following this I have been trained in Functional Endoscopic Sinus surgery.

I garnered vast experience in outpatient care and the different surgeries of ENT – planned and emergency procedures like adenotonsillectomies, septal deviation corrections, SMD, rhinoscopies, FESS, epistaxis care, foreign body removal from ear, nose, throat, during my thirteen years service from 1997-2010 as Consultant ENT Surgeon at the 160 bed General Hospital at Munnar run by the TATA TEA Ltd.

I was associated with managing critically ill patients requiring prolonged ventilatory support. I was a teacher and used to teach the undergraduate students basic principles of anatomy and ENT. I regularly also took part in journal clubs and clinical meetings. I am familiar with Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada because of my education in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

My husband, Dr. Rajesh, Anesthetist, also in ATLAS Hospital, Ruwi, my daughter Nishka and myself are enjoying our stay in Muscat for the past six months.
