Warm greetings!
I am Dr Joshua, working as a Specialist Surgeon. I was always fascinated by my profession and still consider privileged being a doctor. Surgical discipline as such had always attracted me, by the simple fact that there is no substitute for a properly performed operation and I am glad that I became a surgeon. After completing my post graduate degree in Surgery, I was fortunate enough to get associated with the prestigious Kasturba Medical Colleges in Manipal and Mangalore for 8 years as Associate Professor of surgery. This had given me a vast experience in managing surgical cases including emergency and laparoscopic surgery , since this institution serves as a tertiary care centre for entire Dakshin Kannada and Northern Kerala in India It provided me with ample opportunity to participate actively in various local , state , national and international Conferences in addition to my teaching assignments for both undergraduate and post graduate medical and dental students . Many of my articles had been published in various national journals .My main areas of interest are breast and thyroid surgery. I had a short stint of experience in some of the hospitals in UK also , which helped in sharpening my skills . As far as my Middle East exposure is concerned, I had worked in a reputed medical centre in Jeddah, KSA for 2 years, which helped me in getting acquainted with the health care pattern in the region. I always enjoy being part of Atlas Hospital, since it is a great institution which gives a lot of impetus on patient care. A little more about me
